TYPES OF SURVEY:

OFHAUS LTD offers three different levels of house surveys for homebuyers:

• Level 1: Also known as a Condition Survey, this is the most basic type of survey.

• Level 2: Previously called a Home Buyer Report or Homebuyer Survey, this survey is suitable for standard properties in reasonable condition. It includes a more thorough inspection of the roof space and drainage chamber.

• Level 3: Also known as a Full Structural Survey or Building Survey, this is the most comprehensive survey and includes advice on defects, repairs, and maintenance options. It's a good option if you're buying an older property, one with unusual construction, or an extended building that has been altered. It's also beneficial if you have plans to alter the building yourself.

A Level 3 Homebuyer Survey costs typically start at around £800 for a 3 bedroom property.
