Level 3 Building Survey fees

Every fee is fixed and confirmed in writing before you instruct. No VAT is charged, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay.

Fees are based on the value, age and complexity of the property. As a guide:

Homes valued up to £250,000 - from £845

Homes valued £250,000 to £400,000 - from £895

Homes valued £400,000 to £550,000 - from £1,095

Homes valued over £550,000 - from £1,295

Listed buildings and complex heritage properties - Priced on enquiry

Every survey is carried out by me, Matt O'Farrell MRICS. I inspect the property, I write the report and I'm your contact from first call to final report. Nothing is passed to a graduate or a junior surveyor.

Optional extras 

Close-inspection drone survey of roofs and high-level areas:  starting from £120

Cost assessment of identified defects, to support your price negotiation starting from £150

Turnaround

Your report is delivered within 5 working days of inspection. If you have an urgent deadline, say so when you enquire and I will tell you honestly whether I can meet it.

What happens next

Call or email with the property address and asking price. I will confirm a fixed fee the same day, usually within a few hours.
